Traumatic Pericarditis

2.Positive venous stasis ( Bilatreal jugular vein engorgemet)
3.Tachycardia

Subcutaneous emphysema- cattle



 Subcutaneous emphysema may  due to any injury to the trachea,fracture of the ribs,faulty trocarisation of rumen and sudden fall down lead to thoracic injury  and foreign body piercing too.It also occurs as sequel of Ephemeral fever during the convalescence period. Sometimes due to  metritis,mastitis which causes septicemia.Localised subcutanous emphysema can be treated with antibiotics ( ceftiofur sodium 1mg/kg ) ,Flunixin meglumine 1.1 mg/kg ,Furosemide 2 to 4 mg/kg . Generalised subcutanous emphysema  Prognosis- Unfavourable
