Enzootic ataxia in Goat

Enzootic Ataxia in goat due to copper deficiency.
Common in young ones and rapidly growing animals
It occurs as congenital called Sway back ( since from birth )
Acquired enzootic ataxia from three weeks to six or nine months of age.
Most commonly exhibit in young ones due to copper deficiency
Incoordiantion is due to demylination of nervous tissues
Incoordination of the pelvic limbs

Treatment
 Supplementation of Copper sulphate 30mg per kg orally daily

Physiological Udder edema with ventral Herniaand rupture of Lateral suspensory ligament
